I am looking for 4 types of opportunities, ranked by preference.
For headhunters, recruiters, hr:
If you want to learn more about me, go through my projects and career journey.
Reach out to me
- if there is no employment / IP clause that forbids outside appointment (directorships, working with 3rd parties)
- with the job description and compensation package (base salary, bonus, equities/shares)
1. A career with a top-tier company
E.g. FAANG, financial institutes
I am only interested in the top companies with big technical challenges and compensation.
2. Building a business
I am working on something exciting and not looking for investors.
3. Leadership position at a startup
Leadership position: Chief/Head of data
I tried experiencing the "Head of data" role at one of the startups, but don't get it officially as things went south. I am more interested in taking control of my career by starting/building my company than joining a startup unless you are the next Google.
You can refer to the Wikipedia definition of a startup. Based on What The Hell Is A Startup Anyway, a company is no longer a startup if
- $50 million revenue run rate (forward 12 months)
- 100 or more employees
- Worth more than $500 million, on paper or otherwise
4. Better than the above 3
Surprise me. If you have million-dollar jobs, I am interested to hear more.
