A crucial point for me is the flexibility to engage in outside appointments, such as directorships or collaborations with third parties. Opportunities with restrictive employment or IP clauses in this regard will not be a good fit.
1. High-Paying MNC Career
This is my top preference. I'm targeting multinational corporations that recognize and reward exceptional talent with accelerated career progression and compensation significantly above the prevailing "market rate".
I operate with a high level of efficiency and impact, and my compensation expectations reflect this. I'm not looking for roles that demand the output of an entire team for standard market pay.
2. Building a Business
My entrepreneurial endeavors are currently in progress, and while I appreciate the thought, I am not seeking external investment at this time.
3. Startup Leadership Position (Chief/Head of Data)
While I've had some experience navigating the "Head of Data" landscape in a startup environment, I'm selective about future engagements. The odds of a startup becoming "the next big thing" are admittedly slim. Therefore, I would only consider such a role if the potential is truly exceptional, aligning with the characteristics that define a startup according to the provided definition:
- Less than a $50 million revenue run rate (forward 12 months)
- Fewer than 100 employees
- Valuation under $500 million
